Amy Maneker is an advisor at StarBridge Advisors, LLC.

Dr. Maneker is an experienced physician executive and Chief Medical Information Officer with expertise and passion for leveraging information and technology to improve quality and value of healthcare. She is a proven leader with ability to share this passion with everyone from providers at the front line to the senior leadership team.

Dr. Maneker is a pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience. For the last 15 years, her career has been focused in the Clinical Informatics arena. She has experience serving as Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at Akron Children’s Hospital where she supported the development, implementation and adoption of high quality and innovative clinical information systems (including Epic) to assist in delivery of patient care and maximize patient safety and quality of care. She has experience with development/implementation of new technology as well as new care delivery models to improve clinical care.

Prior to her CMIO position, she performed a similar role at University Hospitals in Cleveland, a large academic multi-hospital organization, where she led physician design as well as implementation of the organization’s EHR.

Dr. Maneker received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from The University of Pennsylvania graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

She is Board Certified in Clinical Informatics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.
