Phyllis Teater is the Chief Information Officer for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with responsibility for information technology across the medical center’s three-part mission of patient care, teaching and research. Prior to serving as CIO, Phyllis was Deputy CIO at the Wexner Medical Center and had responsibility for all electronic medical record systems, in addition to financial and human resource systems.

Phyllis has been with the medical center for more than 25 years, and has been instrumental in the adoption and rollout of the medical center’s ambulatory and inpatient electronic medical records as well as with significant enhancements in the technology support for research IT services and technology for education.

Phyllis earned her MBA from The Ohio State University.
